Hey, I’m Ashley!
I’m a passionate creative specializing in photography, creative direction, and makeup artistry. Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated myself to mastering the techniques of professional image-making in both beauty and fashion photography. My mission is to bring back intention into these art forms—creating visuals that are not only striking but meaningful.
In 2016, I attended Humber College to pursue my dreams of learning creative photography. In 2017, I faced the unexpected loss of my father, one of my greatest supporters. Despite that life-altering moment being his next of kin at 22, I persevered and graduated from Humber College in 2020. Since then, I’ve continued the journey and had the honour of working alongside industry legends such as Lindsay Adler and Miguel Jacob (America’s Next Top Model), gaining valuable insight and a global perspective. I’ve also been closely affiliated with Profoto Light Shaping Company, the world-renowned light-shaping company, supporting them at major events and deepening my expertise in lighting and production and establishing myself in the industry.
I believe in the transformative power of high-quality imagery and professional, intentional collaboration. By helping others unlock their vision through professional photography, I aim to show them how impactful visual storytelling can be. I’m known for my quality of imagery, professionalism, uplifting energy, flexibility, and deep commitment to my craft.
In October 2024, I was awarded a scholarship to CMU College, where I expanded my skillset in hair styling, fashion/beauty makeup, and makeup for TV, film, and theatre. As a 2025 graduate of the program, this fundamental training and experience enhance my artistic capabilities in professional image making by allowing me to understand beauty and artistry from every angle.

Ashley B Studios is a fully equipped service with industry-standard professional equipment and has over 10 years of experience needed for high-quality photography.
High-Resolution: With a 45-megapixel full-frame camera, we ensure sharpness even when zoomed in (300 DPI).
Excellent Lighting: We are equipped with Profoto lighting, which is renowned within the professional industry for its quality, versatility, quick flash, and accurate colour reproduction.
Colour Accuracy: Having worked with various backgrounds, age groups, and diverse populations, we have expertise in capturing accurate skin tones in our portraits, ensuring true-to-life colours.
Retouching and editing: We use Adobe professional software, Capture One, and other professional-grade retouching tools to polish images to perfection before they are sent for approval. Professional colour grading is also available if needed to achieve your vision.
General Information & FAQ’S

Ashley B Studios operates in and around the Greater Toronto Area, and there are no extra fees for choosing a specific location (unless a separate permit is needed for the location or it is outside of the GTA). We will choose your studio or outdoor location based on your requirements and what suits your vision if it hasn't already been chosen. You can ensure our services can be available for both indoor and outdoor locations.

It's ideal to plan your shoot at least 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure everything goes smoothly. The entire process involves planning logistics of the shoot, creating a mood board, the actual photo shoot, virtual image selection, retouching, and delivery (up to 14 business days, excluding commercial campaigns (based on agreement)).
Once the images are reviewed and ready, you can download them from an online gallery, which will be available for 6 months or, depending on your licensing agreement, for commercial campaigns.
Retouching includes:
Cleaning up the environment
Sharpening
Colour correction
Colour grading
Skin retouching
Hair retouching
Any other specific adjustments requested.

With concept planning and mood board creation, you will be a part of the process. The Ashley B Studios experience is designed to give you the right to receive your ideal preference for your images.

Photographers hold the primary rights to images as a standard practice in the industry. Your consent will always be asked for before using your images for marketing purposes. You can choose to buy exclusive rights for private use of your images. Commercial image rights will be determined by the licensing agreement.

For those seeking past wedding photography event services, please note that this is only available through family/friend referral. There are no current photography services available for:
Concerts
Birthday parties or events
Graduation parties or events
Baby showers
Music videos
Any events that require event-style imagery aside from Bridal Editorials

If unexpected events occur and you need to reschedule a session, you have the flexibility to reschedule at a more convenient time. Even though the required 50% deposit is non-refundable to secure your date, if a session needs to be postponed, credits can be applied, ensuring future opportunities to capture your vision.
